Fix A Farm
Purpose
Fix a farm is an initiative of Farmfixers to assist the smallholder farmers in rural communities by providing them with the new agricultural techniques, farm inputs, and training to boost food production. Farmers will be to increase their incomes, feed their families, and directly impact their communities.
Poverty in Rural areas is complex. This is why fix a farm initiative takes a long-term approach to fighting and eradicating rural poverty by creating a lasting pathway to prosperity amongst the farm families and their communities.
Supervision
We have a supervising team whose duty is to monitor the farmers and ensure that each input is appropriated.
Financing
Farmers are given high-quality seed, fertilizers, and other inputs.
Delivery
We deliver inputs to locations within walking distance of every farmer we serve.
Training
Farmers receive training throughout the season on modern agricultural techniques.
Marketing
We have a supervising team whose duty is to monitor the farmers and ensure that each input is appropriated. Through adequate feasibility studies, we offer favorable market strategies for the farmers, teaching them about price fluctuations so that they can make maximum profit.
Our Model
A complete bundle of services has been designed, which is market-based. This helps our organization to remain financially sustainable and expand to reach more farmers every year.
